Getting started
Overview
A prediction market on Robinhood Chain where every market settles from the coin’s own onchain price.
What Credos is
Credos is a prediction market for coins launched on Pons. Every market asks one measurable question about a coin: will its fully diluted valuation be above or below a number by a deadline.
Traders take Yes or No. When trading closes, the answer is read from the coin’s own onchain price, sampled several times and decided by the median. No person picks the winning side, and no outside oracle is trusted.
The life of a market
- Open. Anyone pairs a Pons coin with a threshold and a deadline, and provides opening liquidity.
- Trade. Yes and No trade against a pool until the close time.
- Read. After close, the coin’s price is read several times across an observation window.
- Settle. The median of the readings is compared with the threshold, and winning shares redeem for ETH.
If a market cannot settle, it is voided after a grace period and its collateral is returned. Nothing is left locked.
